Sunday September 11, 2011 – Proceeds going to support Meagan’s Walk
Toronto, ON – August 2, 2011
The Manta Group will host their 2nd Annual Invitational Charity Golf Classic on Sunday September 11, 2011 at Station Creek Golf Club in Gormley, Ontario. Proceeds from the tournament will help support Meagan’s Walk – raising hope and awareness for paediatric brain tumour research.
Amateur golfers of all skill levels are invited to compete in a four-person best ball format. The tournament will feature exciting putting contests, outstanding tee prizes, and a silent auction.
The fee is $150 per golfer which includes use of the course facilities, greens fees, power cart, a ClubLink bag and lunch prior to the start of the tournament. Station Creek Golf Club is
located at 12657 Woodbine Ave. in Gormley, ON, about 45 minutes north of Toronto.
On the day of the event, September 11, registration begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch. Tee-off time will be at 1 p.m. Following the tournament there will be a silent auction and awards and a cash bar will be available. By taking part in the tournament, participants are helping Meagan’s Walk get one step closer to a cure while networking with business associates.
Meagan’s Walk grew out of the caring community that surrounded the Bebenek family at the time of Meagan’s diagnosis. Now, ten years later, Meagan’s Walk is honoured by the generous spirit and ongoing commitment of many partners like Manta Group.
