AMENDMENT OF TERMS
Manta Group Limited (“Manta”) reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time without any notice to you.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This website (excluding linked websites) is controlled by Manta from its offices within the Province of Ontario, Canada. This website can be accessed from all provinces and territories of Canada, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these jurisdictions has laws that may differ from those of the Province of Ontario, by accessing this website, the User agrees that all matters relating to access to, or use of, this website, or any other hyperlinked website, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The User also agrees and hereby submits to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the Province of Ontario and acknowledges that the User does so voluntarily and is responsible for complying with local laws.
RESTRICTIONS
This website is exclusively owned by Manta and contains proprietary and/or licensed materials. No material may be copied, reproduced or distributed in any way except with written permission from Manta. Except as otherwise indicated, all trademarks are proprietary to Manta.

Manta does not make any representation regarding the use or the results of use of this website. The User assumes all responsibilities while using this website.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Under no circumstances, including but not limited to, negligence, shall Manta be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials and information in this website, even if Manta or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Manta have any liability to the User for damages, losses and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence), or otherwise) for accessing this website.
E-LEARNING PORTAL
COURSE ACCESS
Manta e-Learning courses can be accessed through Manta’s website upon completion of purchase, as described in these Terms. You can purchase a single license online for a specific course or multiple licenses can be purchased for a specific course or courses by contacting Manta directly.
LICENSE VALIDITY
Manta e-Learning course licenses do not have an expiration date. You can begin your training on any date upon approved purchase; however, after initial access of each course your license will be activated and you will be granted ninety (90) calendar days to complete the training, as described in our Course Completion Timeframe section below. Upon course completion the license will automatically expire.
COURSE COMPLETION TIMEFRAME
Upon initial access, you will have ninety (90) calendar days to complete the entire course/training. On your User profile you can track your progress and number of days available for course completion. When the ninety (90) days have elapsed from your initial access, the course license will automatically expire. Extensions are allowed as described under the Course Extension section below.
COURSE EXTENSION
Course extensions will be granted upon receipt of a written extension request from license holders. Requests must be emailed to

. Extensions are granted only under the following conditions:
- Extension requests are made within, and up to, twenty (20) calendar days upon the elapse of the Course Completion Timeframe.
- Requests must be accompanied with a substantiated statement detailing the reason(s) for the extension request.
- The reason(s) for the extension request can be technical (e.g. problems in accessing the course) or nontechnical (e.g. lengthy business travel, medical condition, family emergency, etc.)
- If the course extension request is not received within the appropriate timeframe, course licenses will automatically expire and you will not be eligible for any refund or extension.
PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
Electronic payment transactions between Manta and the User are governed by the acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. An agreement between Manta and you will exist only after an email confirming payment acceptance of your order and your right to access a particular course(s) and material(s) have been sent to you.
Payment transactions are securely processed through the MonerisTM payment gateway service (www.moneris.com). When entering confidential information, such as a credit card number for a transaction, the information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate. Manta does not store User credit card details.
All prices are in Canadian dollars.
USER REGISTRATION
When registering on Manta’s e-Learning portal you will be granted a unique and personal Username and Password, which will allow you to access the course(s) and reference material(s). You accept that your personal Username and Password are for your use only and agree to the following:
- You are responsible for keeping your Username and Password information confidential, and for any irregularity that might occur from passing on your personal information to third parties.
- You accept that only you, without any other support, will supply the input in your training. If you fail to successfully complete a course/exam you may retake it again; however, additional course fees will be applied.
- You cannot redistribute any materials contained within this website. Each e-Learning course/module and reference material is licensed only for your personal and individual use.
Manta reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without refund of payment(s), on the presumption or belief of any irregularity regarding your account.
CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancelation and refund of your purchase(s) are only possible under the following conditions:
- Cancelations and refunds can only be processed if you have not accessed the course (i.e. paid for the course but have not yet accessed it online). Due to the on-demand nature of this service, once a course has been accessed by a customer the order cannot be cancelled nor a refund issued.

Upon Manta’s approval of a cancellation or refund request, Manta will provide you with a full refund or the option to select a course of equal or greater value. In the event of a refund, the refund will be processed on the same credit card as used for the original purchase.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The following is a list of the minimum technical requirements for running our e-Learning courses offered through the website:
- Processor: Pentium II (350 MHz) or higher
- RAM: 64MB (128MB recommended)
- Operating System: Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, XP
- Browser: Internet Explorer 4.x or higher (Cookies Enabled)
- Plug-Ins: Macromedia Flash Player 5.0 r43 or higher
- Other Hardware: 16-bit Sound Card, Mouse, Speakers or headphones
- Display Settings: 800x600 minimum (1024x768 recommended)
- Internet Connection: If you are experiencing problems in accessing specific course or our learning portal due to firewall restrictions, please contact your network administrator.
